Digital Press Operator Cris Ray Printing Corp 50 Executive Boulevard, Farmingdale, NY 11735 Overview We are seeking a skilled Press Operator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining printing presses, ensuring high-quality output that meets our clients’ specifications. This role requires attention to detail, a strong understanding of print production processes, and the ability to work collaboratively within a fast-paced environment. Duties Operate HP Indigo Digital presses Set up and adjust press equipment to ensure optimal performance and quality. Monitor the printing process for quality control, making adjustments as necessary. Collaborate with the graphic design team to understand layout design and prepress requirements. Conduct routine maintenance on press equipment to ensure reliability and efficiency. Implement color management techniques to achieve accurate color reproduction. Review print materials for accuracy in typography and layout before production. Fabricate necessary components for press operation as needed. Skills Strong knowledge of quality control processes in print production. Proficiency in graphic design principles related to print media. Experience with layout design and prepress preparation. Familiarity with typography standards and practices in print advertising. Understanding of color management techniques for consistent output. Hands-on experience with HP Indigo Presses. Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills. Ability to work effectively under tight deadlines while maintaining high-quality standards.
