The ideal candidate will have experience operating digital printing equipment, ensuring high-quality output, and maintaining production schedules. As a Digital Press Operator, you will be responsible for setting up, operating, and troubleshooting digital presses to produce printed materials according to customer specifications and company standards. In this role, you will work closely with prepress and finishing departments to ensure seamless workflow and timely delivery of printed products. You must be able to interpret job tickets, perform color calibrations, and make necessary adjustments to ensure consistent print quality. Attention to detail, mechanical aptitude, and the ability to work under tight deadlines are essential for success in this position. Key responsibilities include preparing digital files for print, loading media and consumables, monitoring print jobs for quality and accuracy, and performing routine maintenance on press equipment. You will also be expected to maintain accurate production records, follow safety protocols, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of digital printing technologies. Previous experience with digital presses is highly desor able. Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team are also important. Responsibilities Set up and operate digital printing presses Interpret and follow job tickets and specifications Perform color calibration and quality checks Load media and consumables into press equipment Monitor print jobs for accuracy and consistency Troubleshoot and resolve press issues Maintain and clean press equipment regularly Collaborate with prepress and finishing teams Ensure timely completion of print jobs Maintain accurate production and maintenance records Follow safety and quality control procedures Requirements High school diploma or equivalent Experience operating digital printing presses Knowledge of RIP software and color management Familiarity with various print substrates and media Strong attention to detail and quality Ability to work independently and in a team Good mechanical and troubleshooting skills Strong organizational and time management abilities Basic computer skills Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
