Responsibilities Operate and maintain printing presses to produce high-quality printed materials. Set up press equipment according to job specifications, including prepress and layout design. Monitor the printing process for quality control, making adjustments as necessary to ensure color management and consistency. Collaborate with graphic design teams to understand project requirements and provide input on fabrication techniques. Perform routine maintenance on press equipment and troubleshoot any issues that arise during production. Utilize forklifts for material handling and ensure safe operation within the production area. Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols at all times. Requirements Proven experience as a Press Operator or in a similar role within the printing industry. Knowledge of prepress processes, graphic design principles, and layout design. Familiarity with screen printing techniques and CNC machining is preferred. Strong understanding of color management practices to achieve desired print results. Ability to operate forklifts safely; certification is a plus. Excellent attention to detail with strong problem-solving skills. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
