The ideal candidate will have a strong background in operating printing presses and a keen eye for detail to ensure high-quality output. This role requires proficiency in various printing techniques and commitment to maintaining quality standards throughout the production process.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Operates printing press to produce garments and promotional items. Prepares, aligns, and configures machinery, ink, rollers, and garments. Inspects initial prints to evaluate the quality. Adjusts press machinery to meet quality standards and specifications. Troubleshoots issues with printing press and makes basic repairs. Performs routine maintenance on presses. Maintains a clean area around printing machinery.
Required Skills/Abilities:
Ability to operate or to quickly learn to operate various printing presses. Ability to follow instructions. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Education and Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent required. Vocational/technical school training preferred; on-the-job training provided. Previous related experience preferred.
Physical Requirements:
Physically able to operate printing presses. Able to bend or kneel frequently. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at a time.
