Other responsibilities include managing print jobs from start to finish, ensuring color accuracy, troubleshooting printing issues, and working with other production teams to meet deadlines.

Key Responsibilities:

Follows safety policies and procedures to ensure a safe work environment. Sets up, calibrates, and operates Xeikon printing presses to produce high-quality prints. Reviews job orders, artwork, and specifications to ensure accurate print production. Monitors print jobs for color accuracy, resolution, and quality, making necessary adjustments. Manages and loads paper, toner, ink, and other consumables as needed. Ensures timely completion of print jobs while maintaining quality and efficiency. Works collaboratively with designers and production staff to resolve printing issues and improve processes. Performs tests such as temperature, relative humidity, material density, and moisture tests for proper UV drying of ink. Performs routine maintenance, cleaning, and troubleshooting of printing equipment. Assists in other production activities, as needed. Maintains a clean and organized work environment in accordance with 5S principles. Performs other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

Competencies (Knowledge/Skills/Abilities) Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Strong attention to detail. Basic computer skills and ability to learn printing software to monitor printer production. Ability to use various inspection devices and tools. Ability to troubleshoot and resolve common printing issues. Ability to discern differences in color shades. Education H.S. Diploma or G.E.D. (required) Technical training in printing or graphic arts (preferred) Experience Required years of experience may vary based on qualifications, skills, and level within the role. OTHER Physical Requirements Ability to lift up to 50 pounds. All work is performed in a manufacturing environment which may be hot/cold and requires the use of PPE at all times (eyeglasses, ear plugs where required, etc.)
