What You’ll Do:

Safety. Take an active role in prioritizing safety for yourself andothers throughout the operation at all times in accordance withMSHA and Vulcan standards. Inspect and Diagnose. Inspect and diagnose repair and maintenanceof mobile and plant equipment. Plan Jobs. Plan, organize, weld, fit, and layout construction andrepair jobs from blueprints. Fabricate structural componentsaccording to company standards. Fitting and welding according toblueprints. Welding. Stick and Dual Shield Welding. Weld materials in flat,vertical, and overhead positions. Cut materials using air arcs,burning rods, and acetylene/oxygen cutting torches to fitfabrication and job requirements. Perform welding repair andmaintenance to stational production-related equipment, machinery,and structures such as conveyors, crushers, elevators, drives, andscrews. Perform General Physical Activities. Perform physical activitiesthat require moving your whole body and considerable use of yourarms and legs, such as climbing, lifting, balancing, walking,stooping, and handling materials. Must have the ability to work atelevated heights. Problem Solving. Must be able to problem solve and make independentdecisions regarding weld draws while fabricating and addressingother issues. Travel. In-state travel is required occasionally.

QualificationsSkills You’ll Need:

Leadership. Provide leadership and coaching to other teammembers. Experience. 15 years of Fabrication Experience. Must have weldingexperience. Must be able to perform brazing, welding, arc welding,and cutting tasks. Functional Knowledge. Must have extensive knowledge of fitting,welding, and fabrication finishing accuracy. Flexibility. Must bewilling to work overtime and extended hours depending on customerand company demands. Must be able to work outside in all types ofweather conditions and tolerate being exposed to loud noises.
