Responsibilities:

Assemble components and parts into complete units using hand tools and precision measuring equipment (e.g. saws, drills, calipers, etc). Use hand tools to cut and assemble parts, or use precision measuring equipment (e.g. calipers, caliper gauges, etc) to measure components accurately. Use hand tools to trim parts and or use precision measuring equipment (e.g. calipers, caliper gauges, etc) to measure components accurately. Check the quality of parts being manufactured by inspecting the units being produced against specifications and comparing units to plans and specifications as needed. Ensure that all processes are working as expected by checking that the required materials are being used in the required quantities at the required location at the required time.

Requirements:

A minimum of 1 year of assembly experience is preferred (preferably in metal fabrication). Good understanding of basic math concepts such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, division etc. Good hand tool skills using hand drills, saws and other hand tools. Using precision measuring equipment (e.g. calipers, drills etc.) is also a plus.
