Job Summary The Hand Load Operator II will be responsible for setting up and operating a hand load assembly line used for production of ADTRAN’s products. Duties & Responsibilities Assemble hand-loaded components on boards based on diagram, photo, and written instructions found in Fusion. Ensure the correct placement and accuracy of hand-loaded components. Perform tests on boards to ensure functional operation. Route functional boards to Mechanical assembly area and, route non-functional boards to Repair Operator area. Read and interpret Bill of Material (BOM). Check and inspect products to ensure Q50 and

quality standards are met. Work on “semi-routine” assignments and recognize/indicate where any deviation from accepted practices is required. Adhere to general instructions for routine work and detailed instructions for new assignments. Prompt and regular attendance is required in order to ensure quality workflow. Other duties as requested in order to ensure 100% quality, accuracy, and product verification. Qualifications High School Diploma or GED equivalent. Minimum 5 years related experience. Prior manufacturing environment experience preferred. Basic Microsoft Office skills required. BaaN Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software experience required. Ability to operate a manual pallet jack on daily basis required. No travel is expected for this position.
