McAllister Tool and Machine, a state-of-the-art manufacturing company is looking to hire both full and part-time staff in our masking and light assembly departments. 1st and 2nd shifts are available.
The job responsibilities are:
Carry out masking of components as directed by the operations manager in preparation for paint spraying in accordance with job specifications. Be comfortable using sharp instruments. Must be detail oriented and self-motivated. Be comfortable working at a work bench performing the tasks. Be able to read and interpret blueprints with assistance. Using tapes and plastic plugs as required, masking detailed components to drawings and specifications. Un-mask components after paint spraying by removing all tapes and plugs as required. Check paint surfaces for damage or omissions. Light assembly. Ensure that all tasks are performed to the highest possible standard and to the customer satisfaction. Ensure components are not damaged through mishandling or faulty processing or packaging. Maintain productivity so that the effectiveness and efficiency of the department is at the highest level. Complete work in accordance with required work schedules. Ensure good housekeeping within the workshop environment, paying particular attention to your designated work area. Be able to maintain records of work performed throughout the day. Other duties as needed. The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma and have a stable work history. Must possess a great eye for detail, be able to work together in a team environment and follow directions accurately.
