Wire Harness TechnicianJob Description We are seeking a skilled Wire Harness Technician with prior sUAS assembly and small component assembly experience. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of subsystems in an sUAS and possess the ability to troubleshoot effectively. A working knowledge of part numbering, BOM structures, and integration into a product is essential. Responsibilities + Troubleshoot and repair mechanical assemblies and subsystems. + Support engineering with prototype development and testing. + Utilize schematic, blueprint, and work instructions for assembly tasks. + Perform soldering and bench tech work as required. + Review customer equipment and perform root cause and correction analysis (RCCA) with team members. + Recognize and report trends in failures and components to the QA department. Essential Skills + Proficiency in troubleshooting, mechanical assembly, and repair. + Experience with schematics, blueprints, and work instructions. + Ability to use hand tools and perform soldering tasks. + Knowledge of avionic and electrical systems. + Understanding of control panels, electronics, and wiring diagrams. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Associate Degree in a technical field. + Prior experience in a mechanically inclined role. + Strong time management skills to support production and RMA schedules. + Critical inspection skills for reviewing incoming products. + Meticulous application of consistent methods and processes. Work Environment The role operates at 4465 Maysville Rd, Huntsville, AL, with working hours from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM. Occasional work on Saturdays is expected. The company is a dynamic startup in the drone racing and research and development sector, actively partnering with the Army and Air Force to enhance UAS capabilities and develop new UAS products. The company is growing rapidly in the Huntsville area. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $23.00 – $27.00/hr.
