Job Description
Description These assemblers will be working on the final process of the trailer constructing. Once the trailer goes through welding/fabricating and paint, it will come to the assembly department which is where these people will work. They will be doing all finishing and final touches to the trailers before they are shipped out to the customer.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING
- Maintain safe working environment.
- Reading of tape measure, drawings, and work orders.
- Support Lean Manufacturing and Quality Assurance initiatives.
- Maintain production schedule compliance.
- Employees must know how to operate small hand tools.
- Drilling and screwing of floor.
- Paint touch up.
- Operating grinding equipment.
- Assemble parts with small hand tools.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Steel toes are required. All other PPE will be provided. No medical tests or certs required. Must be able to perform certain task of reading a tape measure, blue prints and fill work orders. Employee must be able to work in a manufacturing environment. Using the available resources to maintain production based on a production schedule. Employee must be able to wear safety glasses and safety shoes when required to operate in the manufacturing facility. Employee must be able to walk and stand on the manufacturing floor for extended periods of time as required to completed job and solve problems. Must be able to work in a dusty environment with occasional exposure to fumes, noise, and gases from equipment machinery. High school diploma or GED is required. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00
