Job Title:
Assembler Job Description As an Assembler, you will be working on the final process of trailer construction. Once the trailer goes through welding/fabricating and painting, it will come to the assembly department where you will perform all finishing and final touches before the trailers are shipped out to the customer. Responsibilities Maintain a safe working environment. Read tape measures, drawings, and work orders. Support Lean Manufacturing and Quality Assurance initiatives. Maintain production schedule compliance. Operate small hand tools. Perform drilling and screwing of floors. Perform paint touch-ups. Operate grinding equipment. Assemble parts with small hand tools. Perform other duties as assigned. Essential Skills Working knowledge of equipment, processes, and methods employed by the manufacturing facility. Ability to read tape measures, blueprints, and fill work orders. Experience in working in a manufacturing environment. Ability to use small hand tools and operate grinding equipment. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.78 – $23.78/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
