Job Description
Kelly is hiring assembly workers in Green Cove springs! An assembly worker, also known as an assembler, is responsible for putting together parts or pieces to create a finished product, typically on an assembly line. They follow blueprints, schematics, and instructions, using hand tools or machinery to assemble components and conduct quality control checks.
Key Responsibilities:
Using Tools and Equipment:
Utilizing hand tools, power tools, or machinery to assemble parts, adhering to specifications and safety protocols.
Quality Control:
Inspecting assembled components for quality, identifying defects, and reporting any issues to supervisors. Maintaining a
Clean Workspace:
Keeping the work area organized, tools properly stored, and equipment in good working condition.
Following Safety Procedures:
Adhering to safety regulations and guidelines, including wearing required personal protective equipment (PPE).
Reporting Production Issues:
Notifying supervisors of any problems or defects encountered during the assembly process.
Verifying Specifications:
Ensuring that assembled components meet required specifications and standards.
Maintaining Inventory:
Keeping track of parts and materials, and reporting any shortages or issues. Reading and Interacting with
Blueprints:
Understanding and following detailed diagrams and instructions to guide the assembly process.
Positioning and Aligning Parts:
Carefully placing and aligning components to ensure proper fit and functionality, sometimes using hoists or specialized tools.
Skills and Qualifications:
Physical Stamina:
Ability to stand for long periods, lift and move parts, and use hand tools.
Dexterity and Hand-Eye Coordination:
Good manual dexterity and the ability to manipulate small parts accurately.
