Jacksonville, FL Position Description You will serve as an
AIRCRAFT SYSTEMS INSPECTOR
in the
FLEET READINESS CENTER SOUTHEAST MAINTENANCE REPAIR OVERHAULPRODUCTION DEPTARTMENT PRODUCTION LINES DIVISION
of
FLTREADCEN SOUTHEAST.
Position Duties/Responsibilities
You will serve as the Senior Aircraft Mechanic and technical authority on assigned aircraft with responsibility for troubleshooting, assigning, coordinating, overseeing, and performing maintenance, movement and periodic inspections.
You will perform daily, pre-flight, turnaround, post-flight and special inspections.
You will operate ground support equipment such as air compressors, generators, gas turbine air starters, hydraulic test units, and ground air conditioning units.
You will perform operational checks of engines (including both low and high power turn-ups), control surfaces, and systems indicators by observing performance of aircraft during functional check of each mechanical and electrical system.
You will utilize safety practices and procedures following established safety rules and regulations and maintain a safe and clean work area.
