Electric Signs Assembler and Fabricator Green Wire Electrical LLC Jacksonville, FL 32216 Job Summary We are seeking a skilled Fabricator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assembling and fabricating components with precision and care. This role requires a strong understanding of machining techniques, electrical wiring, and the use of various power tools. The Fabricator will play a crucial role in ensuring that products meet quality standards and specifications. Duties Operate welding and grinding equipment to fabricate and perform repairs on new and used signs. Work with various materials such as vinyl, wood, and metal that may require specialized tools. Assembling signs and other displays according to size and specifications including any electrical wiring and structural supports. Comprehensive understanding of electrical sign repair and installations. • Verify proper operations of sign assembling and the corresponding electrical system. Fabricate and fix structural and ornamental steel. • Smooth metal surfaces and edges. Fit and weld replacement parts into place, using wrenches, welding equipment, power grinders, and other tools. Review work orders, blueprints and other instructions to determine operational methods or sequences. Measure dimensions of completed products or workpieces to verify conformance to specifications. Lift materials or workpieces using cranes or other lifting equipment. • Work in confined areas, outdoors, and in all types of weather. Maintain a clean and well-organized work area. Communicate effectively with supervisors, and coworkers. Work effectively under time constraints. Requirements At least 3 years of welding and fabrication experience. At least 3 years of experience working with illuminated Signs. Knowledge of Electrical works and standards Experience in assembling electric signs, shaping and welding metal signs Experience in fabricating metal letters that are part of the sign Experience in repairing and restoring used/damaged signs Speak, read, and write in the
