Mechanical Assembler Job Description The primary responsibilities of this position include the assembly of axles and brake components for customers seeking high-quality, on-time products in a fast-paced work environment. The role involves ensuring both quality and work safety. Responsibilities Read blueprints and verify the parts required prior to assembly. Inform supervisors of any part or equipment defects to ensure prompt response to the problem. Familiarize yourself with the tools, instrumentation, and calibration equipment. Communicate with other stations on the assembly line to ensure maximum speed and accuracy. Maintain and service all equipment when necessary. Conserve resources and supplies to facilitate minimum waste. Assemble components accurately, thoroughly, and quickly to approved specifications. Essential Skills Experience with power and hand tools. Ability to read blueprints and verify required parts. Good work ethic and adaptability to a fast-paced work environment. Work Environment and Shift The facility is non-climate controlled and operates Monday through Thursday with the possibility of working half days on Friday. The first shift runs from 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM, with flexibility required to work until 4:30 PM if necessary. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $18.25 – $18.25/hr.
