Job Summary:
Soldering Assembler’s are responsible for assembling electronic components and systems using hand soldering techniques in accordance with IPC standards. This role supports the production of aerospace-grade power systems and requires a high level of precision, attention to detail, and adherence to safety and quality standards.
Schedule:
M-TH (6:00am-4:30pm) Overtime available on Friday.
Quarterly Attendance Bonus:
Offered for near perfect attendance.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform hand soldering of electronic components on printed circuit boards (PCBs) and wire harnesses. Read and interpret assembly drawings, schematics, and work instructions. Inspect solder joints and assemblies for quality and compliance with IPC-A-610 and
J-STD-001
standards. Operate tools such as soldering irons, microscopes, and other assembly equipment. Maintain clean and organized workstations and follow ESD (Electrostatic Discharge) procedures. Collaborate with quality control and engineering teams to resolve assembly issues. Complete production documentation and reports accurately and on time.
Work Environment:
Clean climate controlled aviation environment. May require sitting for long periods. Use of PPE and adherence to safety protocols is mandatory. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $17.00 – $20.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
