Shop Assembly Technician Position Available In Martin, Florida

Shop Assembly Technician APEX Waterjetting Global 3944 SW Sand Trail, Palm City, FL 34990 APEX Waterjetting Global, LLC (APEX) is a premium manufacturer of ultra-high pressure (UHP) parts, tools & equipment for the industrial cleaning, offshore oil & gas, shipyard, and surface preparation industries. Due to growth, we are currently seeking an entry-level Shop Assembly Technician.

Responsibilities & Duties:

• Learning and following standard operating procedures
• Assisting with inventory management and supply chain operations
• Handling customer service inquiries and resolving basic issues
• Provide equipment maintenance as required
• Participating in quality assurance and compliance
• Perform bench-type processes to complete mechanical assemblies using hand tools & electric/pneumatic tools to quickly & accurately assemble products
• Perform accurate and precise measurements while completing assemblies

Qualifications & Skills:

• Shipping/Receiving, Inventory Control, and/or Assembly experience preferred
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills with keen attention to detail
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
• Proficiency with basic computer functions
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and adapt to changing priorities
• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Experience in a business supporting the manufacturing and/or distribution of manufactured products
• Proficiency with hand tools, electric/pneumatic power tools, and crating/woodworking
• Mechanical aptitude and manual dexterity with small parts
• Ability to lift 75 pounds and stand on your feet 75% or more of the day
• Current Florida Driver’s License
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening Wages and Benefits APEX operates a climate-controlled facility, a drug-free workplace, and offers the following compensation:
• $40,000 – $52,000 per year depending on experience
