Acara Solutions seeks highly qualified candidates to work onsite with our client in Oldsmar, FL. Interested? Here’s what you’d do: Use a microscope to verify correct part placement and orientation, manually align parts before soldering, and perform post-reflow inspection and touch-up.
Identify and touch up poor wetted solder joints, solder voids / insufficient solder, solder shorts/ bridges, misaligned parts/leads, tombstone or billboarded components, and any other solder defects that may occur during the SMT operation. Here’s what you’ll get:

$18.00 – $22.00/hr.
Hours:
4/10-2nd Shift. Mon-Thurs 3:30 PM-2:00

Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED.
Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar position, above-average surface mount, and fine pitch soldering.
Minimum 3 years of experience in reading and interpreting assembly drawings.
Minimum 3 years of experience in Blueprint Reading, IPC-A-610, and
IPC-J-STD.
Preferred Skills /
Qualifications:
Able to read instructions and identify standard SMT components.
Have basic computer skills and can use several Windows-based programs as part of your daily routine.
Able to read and write English.
Good communication, organizational skills, and ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
Ability to work under a microscope for long periods for inspection/solder repair.
Experience working in a LEAN Manufacturing environment.
Good leadership, mentoring, and training aptitude.
IPC-610 Certification.
