Full Job Description Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and mechanically inclined Mechanical Assembler to perform a variety of assembly tasks involving electronic and mechanical components. This role involves working on subassemblies such as circuit boards, frames, panels, and modules using hand and power tools, based on schematic diagrams and drawings.

Key Responsibilities:

Assemble electronic and/or mechanical components, including modules, circuit boards, and frames. Perform both repetitive and non-repetitive production assembly operations. Read and interpret schematic diagrams, technical drawings, and blueprints. Use hand tools and power tools for assembly and modifications. Perform continuity checks on in-process and completed work. Conduct quality inspections in line with company specifications. Disassemble, modify, rework, reassemble, and test prototype assemblies as needed. Sit for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.

Requirements:

Mechanical aptitude and hands-on experience with tools. Ability to read and understand blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.

Preferred Qualifications:

Candidates with an A&P (Airframe & Powerplant) license or currently enrolled A&P students are highly preferred. Experience in working with circuit cards and electro-mechanical components is a plus.

Job Types:

Full-time, Contract Pay:

$18.00 – $22.00 per hour Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
