Do you have experience in soldering? If you answered yes to those three questions, then today! Acara Solutions seeks highly qualified candidates to work onsite with our client in Oldsmar, FL. Interested? Here’s what you’d do: Use a microscope to verify correct part placement and orientation, manually align parts before soldering, and perform post-re-flow inspection and touch-up.
Identify and touch up poor wetted solder joints, solder voids / insufficient solder, solder shorts/ bridges, misaligned parts/leads, tombstone or billboarded components, and any other solder defects that may occur during the SMT operation. Here’s what you’ll get:

Pay:

$22.00 – $26.00/hr.

4/10-1st Shift.

Qualifications:

High School Diploma or GED.
Minimum of 5 years experience in soldering.
Minimum of 5 years experience using rework equipment such as hot air pencils, hot plates, and BGA removal (ERSA or other OEM).
Minimum of 5 years experience reviewing boards under X-ray to identify solder defects on bottom terminated components.
Minimum of 5 years experience with surface mount components and Surface Mount Technology
Minimum of 5 years experience in IPC-A-610 and

IPC-J-STD.

Minimum of 5 years experience in Blueprint Reading and Operating Computers Preferred Skills /

Qualifications:

Experience running, soldering, and tacking down jumper wires on re-design boards.
IPC-610 Certification.

IPC J-STD-001

Certification.
Familiar with using Automated Optical Inspection (AOI) equipment to aid in identifying solder defects and understand false calls vs. actual calls or issues.
Able to read instructions and identify standard SMT components.
Be an extraordinary solder technician or operator who has used re-work equipment.
Able to read/write English
