Job Title:
Lead Production Assembly Technician (Temp Contract)
Location:
Longwood, FL
Hours:
7 am – 3:30 pm
Job Summary:
This hands-on role supports the assembly team, trains staff, ensures high quality standards, and works with the Production Manager to solve challenges and plan production.
Responsibilities:
Monitor inventory levels and submit supply requests
Assist with production planning
Manage cycle count program
Perform assembly work as needed
Read and interpret technical drawings
Assemble and document engineering prototypes
Inspect materials and components for defects
Prepare components for shipment
Test panels and sub-assemblies during production
Maintain and use advanced shop tools
Provide improvement ideas to Production Manager
Complete required documentation
Keep production areas clean and organized
Follow ISO procedures and assembly instructions
Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED
Must have prior lead or supervisory experience
5+ years’ relevant experience preferred
3+ years’ experience with product assembly a plus
