$18.00 per hour
Job Type:
Full-Time | Monday – Friday | Day Shift (Hours may vary) Express Employment Professionals is seeking a reliable and hardworking individual for a General Labor position at our client’s repair hub in Sumterville, FL. This is a full-time opportunity with hands-on responsibilities in general labor support.
Key Responsibilities:
Power wash units to prep for repair and assembly. Cut, remove, and patch fiberglass surfaces. Sand, prep, and paint materials as needed. Ensure all surfaces and repairs meet quality and safety standards. Safely tear out and remove old refrigeration units, condensers, and evaporators. Assist in basic installation and assembly of new refrigeration units. Operate a forklift (certification preferred or willingness to obtain). Perform basic assembly, manual labor, and load/unload materials or tools as needed.
Requirements:
High School Diploma or equivalent. Minimum 1 year of experience in general labor or construction (preferred). Physical ability to stand for long periods, lift/move heavy objects, and perform manual tasks. Strong attention to detail, ability to follow instructions, and meet deadlines. Willingness to work in an industrial/outdoor setting under pressure. Must be able to commute or relocate to Sumterville, FL 33585 before starting work.
