Job Title
- Wiring Mechanic
Location Alpharetta, GA, 30005 Duration 5 months with a possibility of extension
Shift Details 6:30 AM 5:00 PM
Pay Range - $16/hr
- $18/hr Wiring Technicians will be responsible for assembling cable kits and wire harnesses in accordance with schematic diagrams, drawings, and assembly guidelines.
The role requires precision, teamwork, and a strong focus on safety and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Read and interpret schematic drawings, diagrams, specifications, work orders, and bills of materials.
Assemble and align parts or units using hand and power tools.
Position, fit, and fasten units to assemblies, sub-assemblies, or frames.
Measure parts using precision tools such as calipers.
Inspect parts for surface defects and verify dimensions for specification conformance.
Maintain a clean work area and manage tool inventory.
Follow all safety protocols and use tools/equipment in a safe manner.
Requirements:
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Direct assembly experience with the ability to read and interpret wire diagrams.
Ability to lift up to 35 lbs.
Proficiency in English (read, speak, write).
Strong teamwork and communication skills.
Quick learner with the ability to process and execute tasks effectively.
Familiarity with operating hand/power tools safely.
Preferred Qualifications:
Prior experience in assembly, especially in wire harness and cable kit construction.
