Openwork is currently engaged in a search to find skilled and dedicated Control Panel Technicians in Oakwood, GA.
In this hands-on and rewarding role, you will be responsible for assembling and wiring large industrial control systems, collaborating with technicians, and contributing to high-quality, safety-focused manufacturing projects for a leading industrial refrigeration company. In a Control Panel Technician job, you’ll be responsible for: Performing PLC and standard control wiring & terminations Reading and interpreting wiring diagrams and technical drawings Assembling and wiring control panels, including 460 V motor controls, 120 V control, and low voltage circuits Working with large-scale industrial control systems Maintaining tools and a clean, safe work environment Adhering to all workplace safety procedures and using appropriate PPE What you’ll need: Experience with PLC controls and control networks Ability to read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and wiring diagrams Experience fabricating motor control panels Physical ability to operate large tools and lift up to 50 lbs Minimum of 1 year of assembly experience, 5 years of panel building, and 5 years of electrical troubleshooting (preferred) 2 years of experience reading and understanding electrical schematics (preferred)
