Position:
Custom Wood Product Assembler A Wood Worker is responsible for creating wood products including cutting boards, picture frames and more with the use of wood working equipment and tools.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Cutting boards to length and sanding Operating miter saws, drum sanders, planers, routers, slide saws and other wood working equipment Producing quality wood products with minimal waste Maintaining a clean and safe workstation Assist in other departments as needed
Required Skills/Abilities:
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail Basic computer skills
Education and Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent required Experience with woodworking tools and equipment preferred Experience in a production and/or warehouse environment preferred
Physical Requirements:
Prolonged periods of working on feet, using tools, and performing repetitive actions that entail frequent bending or stooping Must be able to lift up to 35 pounds at a time
