Job Description
REPORTS TO
Rail Packing Lead Person
SUPERVISION EXERCISED
None
GENERAL STATEMENT OF DUTIES
Packing of finished products.
EXAMPLES OF DUTIES
(This list may not include all of the duties assigned)1. Receives and comprehends packing orders and instructions from leadperson.2. Determines that all materials needed to complete work are at work-station.3. Assembles packing cartons or crates.4. Packs product according to instructions on production order.5. Visually inspects finished product as it is packed.6. Closes or seals packages with taping devices and insure package/carton is labeled properly.7. Transfer and stack completed cartons to pallet.8. Maintains production records as required.9. Works within the guidelines of the Quality Program .10. Follows all company safety rules, policies, and procedures.11. Maintain good housekeeping in work area.12. Perform related work as required.
PERFORMANCE REQUIREMENTS

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Ability to read and write, add and subtract whole numbers.“`{=html}“•
Education:

Experience:
One to three months of related experience.
