2nd Shift Cable Assembler Position Available In Bristol, Massachusetts

2nd Shift Cable Assembler GTR ProtoPlus 175 John Quincy Adams Road, Taunton, MA 02780 We are seeking a detail-oriented and dependable 2nd Shift Cable Assembler to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assembling electrical wire harnesses and cable assemblies according to specifications, ensuring quality, accuracy, and efficiency in a fast-paced production environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Assemble wire harnesses, cable assemblies, and connectors per work instructions, blueprints, and schematics Perform wire cutting, stripping, crimping, soldering, and labeling as needed Operate hand tools, pneumatic tools, and other manufacturing equipment safely and efficiently Conduct visual and mechanical inspections of assemblies to ensure compliance with quality standards Identify and report defective materials or questionable conditions to supervisor Maintain a clean and organized work area Accurately complete production and quality documentation Follow all safety protocols and standard operating procedures Work collaboratively with other team members to meet production goals

Qualifications:

High school diploma or GED preferred 1+ year of experience in cable or wire harness assembly Required IPC Certification Preferred Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams, schematics, and work instructions Good manual dexterity and attention to detail Comfortable working with small components and repetitive tasks Strong commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement Ability to lift up to 25 lbs. and stand for extended periods Ability to sit for long periods of time.

Work Environment & Schedule:

2nd Shift 3:30pm to 12:00am Overtime may be required based on production demand Climate-controlled, clean well-lit manufacturing facility

$25.00 – $29.00 per hour Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
