Job Description
Perform soldering, cable assembly, and mechanical inspection tasks using tools, equipment, and documentation to produce and verify high-quality RF cable assemblies.
Job Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent Soldering experience required (must pass soldering test) Basic math proficiency Ability to lift up to 50 pounds Ability to work from product drawings, written and verbal instructions Experience using hand tools and semi-automated fixtures Strong documentation and recordkeeping skills Computer skills for operating programs and accessing product documentation Ability to work with electrical and mechanical test/inspection equipment
Preferred Skills:
1 year of RF-related and/or mechanical assembly experience Experience with cable assembly Familiarity with root cause analysis and QA support processes
Job Responsibilities:
Maintain clean and safe working environment in accordance with procedures Prepare work by reviewing product documentation, parts lists, and tools Set up and operate tools, fixtures, and equipment to cut, prep, and trim cables Assemble connectors, labels, and parts to complete cable assemblies Perform soldering operations as required by product specifications Conduct in-process inspections for workmanship, dimensions, and interface tolerances Execute mechanical tests such as cable retention and torque verification Record inspection and test results accurately in compliance with procedures Complete all labor, part, and process transactions on time and accurately Support QA with root cause analysis and continuous improvement efforts
