Assembler – 1st shift Position Available In Middlesex, Massachusetts

Job Description:

1st shift – 7am-3:30pm with overtime Assembles fabricated partsat floor stations. Tests and calibrates parts and mechanisms tomeet tolerances and product specifications. Uses hand tools andpower tools to assemble units according to product specifications.

Identifies units that fail tests or tolerance levels and repairs asnecessary. Requires a high school diploma or its equivalent. May berequired to complete an apprenticeship and/or formal training inarea of specialty. May require 2-4 years of experience in the fieldor in a related area. Has knowledge of commonly-used concepts,practices, and procedures within a particular field. Relies oninstructions and pre-established guidelines to perform thefunctions of the job. Works under immediate supervision. Primaryjob functions do not typically require exercising independentjudgment. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager.

Lifting will exceed 30 Lbs. and/or repetitions ofthis or lesser weights will be significant. Exposure to substantialmachine, chemical, biological or other physical risks areanticipated.
