Description:
- The Mechanical Assembler is responsible for assembling passive microwave components using various hand tools in a secured environment.
- Performs a variety of tasks ranging from repetitive to non-repetitive production assembly operations on mechanical assemblies such as antennas, filters, frames, and waveguide assemblies.
- Must be able to lift & carry 50 pounds, sit or stand for 4 hours at a time, work from drawings, work instruction, and routers.
- Ensure completed assignments are defect free and comply with drawing/work instructions.
Basic Qualifications - Must be able to read and follow written work instructions, assembly procedures, and prints.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in mechanical assembly or automotive/equipment repair.
Preferred Qualifications - Computer literate.
- Soldering or torch brazing experience.
- Strong oral & written communication skills and math skills.
