Job Title:

Racker Job Description The Racker position involves racking and un-racking delicate parts to support finishing operations such as cleaning, plating, or other surface coatings. The role primarily requires sitting or standing and involves using copper wire or pre-existing pins to wire fixture parts onto designated racks for subsequent operations. It requires articulating your wrists and hands to perform the tasks effectively. Responsibilities Perform racking operations using copper wire or pre-existing rack fixtures following general instructions. Read and apply special instructions when applicable. Perform frequent counting of products to maintain accuracy. Report defective materials or questionable conditions to the department Lead. Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition, following prescribed safety regulations. Perform prescribed preventive maintenance on equipment as required. Complete tasks as directed by manufacturing schedules with minimum supervision. Work as a team member with peers and leadership to achieve production demands. Essential Skills Ability to read and write with legible penmanship. Basic math skills. Mechanical inclination. Knowledge retention. Strong time management skills with the ability to multitask. Work Environment This role is for the 2nd shift, starting at 3:30pm and ending between 8:30pm and 10:00pm. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Plymouth, Massachusetts. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $17.50 – $25.00/hr.
