Exact Dispensing, part of TASI Measurement, designs, builds, and services resin dispensing systems. We provide systems for the automotive, electrical device, medical, and composite industries. We have been in business and staple in Lincoln County for over 40 years.
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Fabrication/Assembly Technician to join our team at Exact Dispensing. The ideal candidate will be responsible for Welding, fabrication, machine assembly, and other similar tasks as directed.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
Assemble mechanical and electromechanical systems according to engineering drawings and production documentation. (50%) Perform TIG and MIG welding on steel and aluminum components. (25%) Fabricate parts and subassemblies using hand and power tools. (25%) Conduct pipe fitting and valve installation. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment. Assist with troubleshooting and repair of returned products. Perform other related duties as assigned.
Minimum Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent Technical or Trade school (preferred but not required) Prior experience in mechanical assembly or fabrication Proficiency in TIG and MIG welding (steel and aluminum) Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics Familiarity with basic hand and power tools (e.g., screwdrivers, wrenches, drills) Experience with calibration or testing of mechanical systems preferred Basic computer skills, ability to follow digital work instructions, and knowledge of multimeters
Working Conditions :
Physical Demand(s): Can lift up to 50lbs, sitting and stand for reasonable periods of time Visual Demand(s): Ability to look at a computer monitor for reasonable periods of time. Focusing on small electronic components for extended period of time. Hazard(s): Manufacturing environment.
