Final Assembly Technician 2.3 2.3 out of 5 stars Kansas City, MO 64147 SUMMARY This position is responsible for the final assembly and quality testing for completed tanks.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Hydro test tank Fit and install trays and tools boxes Install Bumpers Install sill-boards Clean and inspect Weld conduit/bumper brackets Housekeeping in shop Assist with Laser production-un-nest and deburring as needed Move raw goods and finished tanks around shop Spot/Monitor confined space activities when needed Clock in/out correctly on job time sheets Stay within production timelines established Attendance Probationary period and eval for first 30 days Needs to have personal tools on list Ability to read print and follow instructions Follow guidelines for quality control Adhere to all safety protocols Work with the team to accomplish goals Other duties as assigned and as needed
QUALIFICATIONS

ESSENTIAL KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES
include, but are not limited to the following. Ability to schedule work load and material efficiency. Ability to read and interpret blueprints and work orders. Familiar with 5S method of processing. Complete understanding of fabrication mathematics. Ability to measure and verify dimensions using various measuring devices: tape measure, caliper, machinist square, pro-tractor. Ability to identify, retrieve and install the required punch based on bend radius. Ability to identify, retrieve and install the required die based on material thickness. Ability to download program files, or program a press brake at the controller. Ability to program each program step using tonnage mode, angle mode/absolute position. Ability to properly and safely operate a press brake from a variety of manufacturers. Ability to troubleshoot, analyze and resolve operating and fabricating challenges.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
This position has no supervisory responsibilities. TRAVEL This position does not travel.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
High School diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience.
