This position reports toShift ManagerYour role and responsibilitiesThe assembly technician performs a variety of tasks to assemble industrial electric motors, including press operations, turning operations using CNC lathes, welding, dynamic balancing, electrical testing, painting, and crating. The ability to measure in inches and fractions with a steel rule or tape is required.

  • Assembles semi-finished or final products, including painting and packing where integrated with production lines.
  • Performs work manually or using machine or hand tools.
  • Performs regular quality testing as part of a defined production process.
  • Operates within standard operating procedures and maintains a clean work area.
  • Trains, shares knowledge & information with coworkers.
  • Able to work safely in an industrial environment
  • Other temporary duties/responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications for the roleHigh school diploma or GED required.

Previous industrial experience and mechanical aptitude preferred.

Basic computer skills.
