- Job Description
- Join our team as an Assembler I, where you will play a crucial role in building, testing, and packaging small parts and products. This position involves interpreting blueprints, following assembly procedures, and ensuring quality standards are met in a fast-paced production environment.
- Responsibilities
- + Read and interpret simple blueprints, specifications, work orders, or reports to verify assembly process and quality requirements.
+ Take direction from the supervisor to understand assembly procedures and production goals. + Follow assembly procedures to build parts using hands and small machinery. + Explain assembly procedures or techniques to other workers. + Position, align, or adjust workpieces or parts to facilitate assembly. + Clean parts using cleaning solutions, air hoses, and cloths. + Pack finished parts for shipment, including labeling and bagging parts, adding corresponding instruction information, and placing bagged parts into boxes. + Examine products to verify quality, including Bonnet to Body Testing and ECL tests, determine causes of quality issues, and rework parts as necessary.
- Essential Skills
- + Experience in production or manufacturing.
+ Strong attention to detail. + Ability to read calipers and work with micrometers. + Capability to keep up with higher speed production. + Working knowledge of the English language, both oral and written. + Ability to perform work safely. + High attention to detail with strong vision and hearing. + Manual dexterity for handling objects of varying sizes. + Ability to lift 45 pounds and perform repeated physical tasks. + Skill in active listening and following directions.

- + Integrity, reliability, responsibility, and accountability. + Ability to learn new machines and production procedures. + Ability to stand for 8 hours a day. + Experience with hand tools, power tools, torque tools, and wrenches.

- Work Environment
- You will work in a clean, well-lit, climate-controlled environment. The job involves 1st Shift from 5 AM
- 3 PM, Monday to Thursday, and 2nd Shift from 3 PM
- 1 AM, Monday to Thursday, with mandatory overtime of 8 hours on Friday and 5 hours on Saturday when scheduled.

- This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Elon, North Carolina.
- Pay and Benefits
- The pay range for this position is $17.00
- $18.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
