Experienced Furniture Assemblers Needed! 3.6 3.6 out of 5 stars Icard, NC 28666 Overview We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Assembler for one of our clients in the Icard, NC area. In this role, you will perform a variety of tasks using standard procedures, tools, equipment and materials to produce upholstery frames and other products that are delivered to the highest quality, on time and completed in the safest, most efficient manner. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years experience in the production of high-end upholstery frames. 1+ years experience is required. Responsibilities Assemble the frame parts assuring they are square and level, with correct parts orientated to the correct direction and all parts flush to outside of frame using a hammer and nails, staples and appropriately applied glue. Assure all parts are ground off level to result in as flush an outside edge as possible and that no staples are on outside of frame. Keep the work area clean and organized, removing trash from assembly area as required. Work safely following all safety policies and procedures. Perform other duties as assigned. Requirements Up to 5 years’ experience in production of high-end upholstery frames including upholstery frames. Experience in reading and understanding job orders. Ability to interpret simple frame assembly instructions. Ability to perform multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment to meet work deadlines. Ability to read, write and understand work instructions in English. Ability to maintain accurate records and follow documented procedures and standards. Ability to frequently lift and move frames weighing up to 50lbs. Ability to stand for up to 10-hour shift. Ability to bend and twist as required in order to assemble frames. Comfortable walking/standing 90% of the day 10-12 hours Ability to work overtime when necessary (1st shift hours, weekend hours); Work as a team member, have a flexible attitude toward job assignments, and be able to take initiative to complete work in safe, efficient and proactive manner.

Pay:

$18.50/hour
