PDS Tech Commercial is hiring an Assembly Technician in Kinston, NC to support high-precision aircraft production. This is more than just a job—it’s a chance to be a critical part of the team that builds tomorrow’s aircraft.
As an Assembly Technician, you’ll work directly with blues, parts, and cutting-edge tools to bring aerospaceponents to life. If you’re looking for a fast-paced, team-driven environment w your work matters every single day—this is it.
What You’ll Be Doing
Interpret and work from blues, work orders, and engineering specifications to assemble and install aircraftponents
Perform manual and automated assembly tasks including portable machining operations
Conduct functional tests, inspectponents, and rework or repair as necessary
Use precision measuring instruments to ensure part and assembly quality
and help resolve production errors or materialtooling issues
Perform minor machine maintenance and support basic Total Preventative Maintenance (TPM) tasks
Move parts and assemblies throughout the production area using assigned shop equipment
Assist with training, coaching, and cross-functional support to maintain workflow
Document discrepancies per specifications and support inspection procedures
Cross-train in inspection and be SIA qualified
What You’ll Need to Succeed

Required Qualifications:

Local candidates strongly preferred
Must be able to work any shift assigned, including overtime and weekends as needed
Must be able to stand and work the entire 8-hour shift
Ability to read and interpret technical documents and blues
Basic understanding of mechanical assembly and handpower tools
Detail-oriented, safety-conscious, andmitted to quality

Preferred Qualifications:

Previous aerospace, manufacturing, or assembly experience
Comfort using precision measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, etc.)
Familiarity with automated assembly equipment or machining processes

Pay Details:

$34.00 to $37.00 per hour
