PDS Tech Commercial is seeking skilled Assembly Technicians to support aerospace manufacturing in Kinston, NC. Monday to Friday | Must be available for 1st, 2nd, or 3rd shift operations

What You’ll Do
As an Assembly Technician, you will be responsible for assembling, installing, and inspecting critical aerospaceponents.

Your duties include:

Reading and interpreting blues, work orders, and technical specifications toplete assembly tasks.
Performing manual and automated assembly operations using precision tools.
Drilling, sealing, inserting fasteners, countersinking, varnishing, painting, and sub-assembling aerospaceponents.
Conducting functional tests and quality checks to ensurepliance with safety and engineering standards.
Identifying and resolving assembly process issues, reporting discrepancies, and assisting in corrective actions.
Moving materials, tools, and assemblies to support production flow.
Performing routine equipment maintenance as part of Total Preventative Maintenance (TPM).
Training and coaching fellow team members to maintain high production standards.
Cross-training in inspection processes and obtaining SIA qualification.
What You Bring

Required Qualifications:

Ability to work any assigned shift (1st, 2nd, or 3rd).
Willingness to work overtime and weekends based on business needs.
Ability to stand for an entire 8-hour shift and perform physically demanding tasks.
Experience with aerospace assembly processes such as drilling, sealing, inserting fasteners, countersinking, and painting.
Strong attention to detail and ability to followplex technical instructions.

Preferred Qualifications:

Local candidates strongly preferred.
Familiarity with precision measurement tools for verifying dimensions.
Experience working in an aerospace or manufacturing environment.
Ability to document and report discrepancies according topany procedures.
Inspection experience and willingness to obtain SIA qualification.

Pay Details:

$34.00 to $37.00 per hour
