Months Shift Information CharlotteEvening:

4:00:00 PM – 2:00:00 AM, Monday – Friday JOB DESCRIPTIONAssembler will be working on assigned production line and will berequired to follow SOP for specific job assignment. Measure, cutand assemble door units. Assist a variety of functions with manuallabor tasks as needed. Works under immediate supervision. Verifymaterials being used is correct by reading the bill of materials.

Ensure materials meet quality expectations. Palletize, wrap, andlabel units as needed. Assembles fabricated parts to relativelylarge or heavy subassemblies and complete units. Tests andcalibrates parts and mechanisms to meet tolerances and productspecifications. Relies on instructions and pre-establishedguidelines to perform the functions of the job. Verifies thatcomponents are being placed in the correct position per SOP.Repeats tasks until entire door stack is complete. Cleans up workarea when shift ends. Maintain a safe and clean work environment.

Other duties as assigned. Ability to work independently andeffectively in a team environment. Solid verbal and writtencommunication skills. Has knowledge of commonly-used concepts,practices, and procedures within a particular field. Stronganalytical skills & Knowledge of all door components. Efficientwith multiple manual machines and pneumatic equipment such as NailGun, Screw Gun, Router, Tape Measure, Square. Required to stand forlong periods of time. May involve some repetitive motions -bending, stooping, squatting, pushing, and pulling of parts andpart containers. Ability to organize and maintain detailed records.

Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment and have theability to multi-task. Read and understand bill of materials. Dueto the open environment of the facility, must be able to work invarious weather and temperature conditions to include extreme heat,humidity, and cold. Must be able to read a tape measure and havebasic math skills Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. Mustdemonstrate solid teamwork abilities Regular attendance andtimeliness is an essential function of the job in order to avoidhaving any disruptions in production and customer service. Followall operational and safety SOP s as written. High School Diploma orequivalent preferred not required. 1-2 Years in the field orrelated area.
