The Fabricator will play a crucial role in ensuring that all projects meet specifications and are completed efficiently. Responsibilities Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to understand project specifications. Utilize tools such as micrometers and welding equipment to fabricate metal parts. Perform stick welding and operate press brake machines for shaping metal components. Rig materials and components as needed for assembly or transportation. Execute pipe threading tasks to prepare materials for installation. Conduct basic machining operations to ensure precision in fabrication. Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety protocols at all times. Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines and quality standards. Requirements Proven experience in fabrication or a related field is preferred. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to operate various fabrication tools and machinery. Proficiency in blueprint reading and understanding technical specifications. Basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to fabrication tasks. Familiarity with stick welding techniques and practices is essential. Experience with rigging, pipe threading, and machining is a plus.
