FABRICATOR SUMMARY

responsible for adhering to a production schedule, ensuring that all parts are properly fitted, aligned and secured and ensuring that safety standards are always met, among other duties.

FABRICATOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Maintains open and accurate communication with field employees. Clocks in and out for activities throughout the day in Pierson Wireless’ project management cloud solution. Reading and understanding product schematics and assembly instructions. Taking part in product development meetings. Verifying dimensions and product specifications. Ensuring that all the required parts for assembly are present. Marking cutting lines on material. Ensuring that all parts are properly fitted, aligned and screwed in. Ensuring that quality control standards are met. Maintaining a production schedule. Testing products for their functionality. Troubleshooting and stress testing products to minimize problems or recalls. Reporting and detailing product malfunctions. Provides support to other team members and staff as needed. Operates company provided equipment and vehicles in a safe manner and follow all local laws, regulations, and ordinances. Submits receipts and expense records. Abides by all policies and procedures as identified in the Pierson Wireless handbook. Is cross-trained to lend support other Pierson Wireless staff and departments. Performs other related duties as assigned by management. Follows safety policies for safe work.

FABRICATOR QUALIFICATIONS

High school diploma or general education degree (GED), or one to three months related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Specialized certification preferred. Proficiency in operating heavy machinery. MIG Welding experience. TIG Welding experience. Plasma Cutter experience. Excellent eyesight and color vision. Good dexterity. Attention to detail. Strong organizational skills. Physical stamina. Excellent communication skills. Valid driver’s license required. OSHA 10 hour certified (preferred) Stable work history
