BASIC FUNCTION
Work safely and efficiently to meet production schedules and quality standards according to order form and quality standards. Other duties include, but are not limited to:
- reading and understanding order form
- identifying proper material and module types
- setting up and operating necessary machines/tools
- performing various fabrication processes including assembly, cutting, drilling, packing, measuring, inspecting, and preparing belts for shipment
- properly fabricating belts within specified tolerances
- operating forklift, loading and unloading trucks and racks
- printing labels and making computer entries
- other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS INCLUDE
- Ability to read and understand written order specifications, including units of measure in both English and Metric.
- Ability to independently and safely use and/or operate necessary machinery, tools and equipment.
- Operate forklift
- Satisfactory completion of required Forbo training programs.
- Must be able to independently lift-up to 75 lbs.
and maneuver large belts ranging up to 75 feet long.
WORKING CONDITIONS INCLUDE
- Required to work around and/or with cutting tools, forklifts, and machinery which could cause cuts, abrasions, burns, bruises or fractures to hands or other body parts
