SUMMARY:

The assembler is responsible for interpreting assembly instructions, ensuring all components are present, and assembling furniture accurately and efficiently. Attention to detail, manual dexterity, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team are essential in this role. As a furniture assembler, you will play a crucial role in ensuring customer satisfaction by delivering high-quality assembly services. The Assembler is expected to maintain a clean and organized workspace, handle tools and equipment safely, and adhere to company standards and safety regulations. The ability to troubleshoot and resolve assembly issues quickly is highly valued.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Works as part of a production team to assemble parts.
  • Sorts and places material or items on tables, racks or bins.
  • Assemble small parts manually.
  • Cleans assembled parts and place in protective bags or boxes.
  • Packages assembled parts into cardboard boxes.
  • Removes extraneous plastic material from molded parts.
  • Picks up, moves and sorts small parts.
  • Uses small tools and jigs to manipulate parts for assembly
  • Meet or exceed daily/weekly production goals
  • Performs other related duties as assigned by management.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED), or one to three months related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Possess basic math skills, measuring skills and ability to read a tape measure.
  • Must be able to operate basic hand and power tools and read blueprints.

Must be friendly, courteous, service-oriented, and flexible and enjoy working with a variety of staff. Must be detail-oriented and work effectively under pressure while meeting all applicable deadlines. Must be able to work independently and productively with minimum supervision; work well under pressure; able to manage multiple projects.
