The role of an electro-mechanical assembler is ensuring the assembly of acceptable Clever Devices products in line with production plans, specified requirements and materials availability. You will work in a standardized way and identify opportunities for improvement. Your contribution will support customer satisfaction from on-time delivery of high-quality products and support growth for our company through efficient management of resources. Responsibilities Timely assembly of Clever Devices products, including standard electro-mechanical assemblies, kits and “build-2-print” assemblies and project specific products. Informed and capable in lean production concepts, small batch manufacturing and continuous improvement oriented. Following training, workflow policies and procedures that establish standardized work, and maintain established requirements. Ensures that manufacturing equipment and tools function properly. Responsible for the proper operation of machines and equipment. Pro-active and regular communications with Operations management regarding any problems or issues which have the risk of impacting these responsibilities, stated above.
Qualifications:
Prior experience in a Production Department of discrete, technical (electro-mechanical) products. Knowledge of electronics and electro-mechanical assembly and test conventions. English language reading and writing skills at a level to assemble and complete products with existing production documentation. Familiarity with computers and MS Office applications. Willingness to learn new programs such as Microsoft D365. Maintain clean and safe work environment by following company training and standards. Understanding of the industry trends for manufacturing and quality. Problem solving and conflict resolution skills. Ability to understand the experiences of CD customers and internal staff and incorporate them into successful production strategies. Time management skills, including the ability to meet deadlines in a complete manner with timely communication of risks or obstacles to on-time completion.
