Job Summary:

Maintains production and quality by ensuring operation of machinery and mechanical equipment are effective.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Prepares materials for welding, cutting, grinding and cleans metal Accurately and safety conceptualize then welds fixtures that solve operational needs Tests and inspects welded surfaces ands structure to discover flaws Maintains equipment in all machining areas • Resolves safety issues on all equipment. Repairs equipment failure (downtime). Determines root cause failures and alleviate issues on assigned equipment. Records all unscheduled down time on equipment in designated Hydra system. Communicate usage, needs and sourcing of components. Assists in the implementation of projects, PMs and other machine repairs and maintenance Assists in the installation of equipment as requested. Assists in the development of continuous improvement activities as requested. Serve as an active participant in LSS programs that promote continuous improvement. Preventative and predictive maintenance activities to maintain and improve equipment uptime and performance while enhancing OEE% Education, Experience, Skills and Abilities Required for Consideration as a

Candidate:

Two-year technical shop degree or certifications in technical aspects of maintenance (hydraulics, pneumatics, basic electricity, welding, etc.) or equivalent experience 3+ years’ of manufacturing experience is required as a minimum Must be able to read, write and understand English Must be able to read blueprints, measure, cut and weld metal to precise specifications Strong mechanical maintenance, fabrication, welding and machining background Comprehensive knowledge of TPM (Total Preventive Maintenance) Must demonstrate ability to perform root cause analysis and possess excellent troubleshooting skills in high pressure environment

Word, Excel, CMMS Additional Education, Experience, Skills and Abilities Preferred:

Certified Welder (CW)- Welding certification from technical school strongly preferred
