Nashua, NH Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled cable assembly specialist to join our expanding team. This role involves assembling, inspecting, and testing cable harnesses according to customer specifications and strict quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Understand and accurately interpret customer blueprints, Bills of Materials (BOMs), and work instructions. Demonstrated proficiency in cutting, stripping, soldering, and terminating wires in accordance with customer specifications. Effectively utilize hand tools, including wire cutters, wire strippers, and a variety of hand crimping tools. Conduct in-process inspections at different stages of production to ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications. Understand industry-specific standards and construct or inspect products in compliance with these guidelines. Identify and troubleshoot issues during production, providing valuable feedback to improve processes. Maintain a clean and organized work environment. Work collaboratively within a diverse team.
Qualifications:
A high school diploma or equivalent is required; additional technical training or certifications in electronics or a related field are preferred. 2-3 years of experience in manufacturing, particularly in the cable assembly industry. Familiarity with standard tools used in manufacturing environments. Ability to read and understand customer blueprints. Proficient in reading a ruler and understanding fundamental units of measurement. Strong attention to detail with a commitment to quality.
