Works from engineering design drawings, diagrams,schematics, or written instructions to build and test opticalsubassemblies, opto-mechanical, and/or electro-optical assemblies.
Assembles, bonds and performs other joining techniques fromspecific instructions. Must be familiar with working with a widevariety of adhesives and epoxy’s. Experience and understandingutilizing military criteria.
Required Education, Experience, &Skills Must have 8 or more years of optical assembly experiencewith military hardware utilizing MIL STD 883 and
J-STD-001.
Musthave the ability to read prints, process sheets and other relateddocumentation used for manufacturing complex optical assemblies andsubassemblies. Must be familiar with proper handling and inspectionof optics including interpreting scratch/dig criteria andrecognizing cosmetic coating anomalies.

- $119213Please note: This range is based onour market pay structures.
However, individual salaries aredetermined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to:business considerations, local market conditions, and internalequity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills,education, and experience.
