Overview
The Assembler III Masker is responsible for preparing parts and components for the painting process by applying masking materials to ensure specified areas are protected from paint. This position plays a critical role in ensuring quality standards are met for painted products in a manufacturing setting.
Responsibilities

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Read and interpret work orders, blueprints, and masking specifications to determine required masking procedures.
  • Apply masking tape, plugs, and other protective materials to designated areas on parts using hand tools or masking equipment.
  • Inspect components for cleanliness and surface defects before masking.
  • Ensure accurate and consistent masking to prevent paint from reaching unapproved surfaces.
  • Remove masking materials after the painting process, ensuring clean lines and no damage to the part.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area.
  • Report any defects, damaged parts, or irregularities to supervisor immediately.
  • Follow all safety procedures and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).

Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
  • Minimum of five (3) years of experience in a related field.
  • High School (High school diploma) or GED.
  • Applicable experience in lieu of a Degree may be considered.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

This position requires access to technology, materials, software or hardware that is controlled by either ITAR or EAR U.S. export laws. As a condition to this job offer, in order to be employed in this position, you must be able to obtain an U.S. Government export license(s), as required by law.

Pay Range:

$20.00 – $24.52 hourly. Applicable pay within the posted range may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, geographical location, job function of the position, education, and experience of the successful candidate.
