You’ll be making unique game show and casino-style machines, prize wheels, race tracks and other specialized products for a global market! Our acrylic fabricator uses mills, lathes, casting and calibration tools and hand tools in project construction from raw materials to finished machine. The job duties include machine and hand-crafting custom products and prototypes, custom woodworking, and manipulating of plastics/acrylic/ metal materials into the final project. Fabricators work independently from specs/CAD drawings, have a high level of mechanical and creative ability, and can be trained to be proficient in other customization operations. The fabricator will have mechanical and creative talents with a desire to grow. Schooling in engineering or industrial design or fine art with practical “hands on experience” is desirable. Previous successful candidates have experience in exhibit shop or theatrical design work. Qualifications include experience with two or more of the following: Custom machinery fabrication Prototype, sample, toy or theatrical design skills Model making, casting in acrylic and other materials Acrylic fabrication Vertical mill setup and operation (CNC and manual) Table saw, drill press and pneumatic tools Successful candidates communicate clearly in English; stand; walk; handle tools, lift, bend, reach, kneel or stoop as part of the daily job. Applicants must be able to safely move and lift materials weighing up to 50 pounds on a routine basis. Company paid benefits.
